How to check user account

This page describe simple procedure to check whether all tools are working with LDAP account.


Click on the sign in link in the top right corner of this page, and you should be able to login using your LDAP username and password.


Run this command in terminal:

$ ssh info

The output should look like this:

hello wagnelib, this is gitolite 2.2-1 (Debian) running on git
the gitolite config gives you the following access:

LDAP (only administrators)

  • Open phpldapadmin.
  • Click login in the left panel.
  • Log in using your username and password.

Account trouble-shooting

  • Are you asked for password when accessing git repository?
    This may be problem with the ssh key, check whether the key is properly placed in $HOME/.ssh or when using multiple keys check your $HOME/.ssh/config.
    $ git clone
